Ramblings of a Random Reader

I read YA, historical romance and some contemporary romance. I'm a mom to an 18 yo college freshman and 15 yo high school freshman. I'm a teacher who's working on a masters degree in special education, a wife an 9 yr breast cancer survivor. I read to escape real life stress.

Just Like Heaven (Smythe-Smith Quartet)

Just Like Heaven (Smythe-Smith Quartet) - Julia Quinn Great story set in 1800s England. Marcus and Honoria have known each other for 15 years by him being her brothers best friend but things change when one of them becomes gravely ill. The story has drama, romance and some really funny inner dialogue by Marcus. I highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys historical romance. It did take a few chapters to get in to it, basically once the twomain characters began interacting moree but after that I found it difficult to put down.
